<p>NEW MATERIAL:An analog peptide which is an analog peptide of a peptide YY derived from the porcine superior small intestine, having one or more substituted amino acids in the N-terminal parts and conformation stabilized with the peptide YY, exhibiting more improved physiological activity than that of the peptide YY and expressed by the formula, etc. USE:A medicine for central and peripheral nervous systems. PREPARATION:For example, an amino acid in the C-terminal is initially introduced into a resin by a symmetric anhydride method using a 1% divinylbenzene- p-methylbenzhydrylamine polystyrene resin as a carrier according to a solid- phase method. Amino acids having a protected alpha-amino group, etc., are then linked thereto according to the amino acid sequence of a peptide and the amino- protecting groups are removed. The above-mentioned operation is repeated to synthesize a peptide chain, which is subsequently eliminated from the resin and purified by high performance liquid chromatography to afford the peptide having the amino acid sequence expressed by the formula, etc.</p> |
