The cutting of strips involves preparing a material having parallel straight lines on both sides and performing a cutting operation upon one side of the material along a given curve, thus continuously obtaining a number of strips. Alternatively, the cutting of the strips involves performing a cutting operation upon the material along two given curves, one of which curves has concave portions opposing convex portions of the other curve, thus continuously obtaining two series of strips.
