PURPOSE:To obtain an easily attachable and detachable original cover having a simple structure, by providing a bearing protrusively on the body of a copying machine, the main body of a cover that is fitted loosely to a groove of the bearing and a slider attached on the bearing allowing free sliding. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 2 is protrusively provided on the body 1 of a copying machine, and a groove 6 is provided on the bearing 2. The body 5 of an original cover has a shaft member 3 on its end and this is fitted to the groove 6 and covered by a slider 4 that can slide freely on the bearing 2. When removing the original cover, the slider 4 is slid and shifted to a position spaced away from the shaft member 3. When attaching the original cover to the body of the copying machine, the slider is locked on the shaft member 3. Thus, the original cover is simple in structure and easily attachable and detachable. |
