PURPOSE:To consider operator's using convenience and to obtain a copying device with excellent operability in a mode select by inhibiting a sheet filing mode select, prioritizing a two-documents feeding mode, and displaying the warning of inhibiting a mode when the two-documents feeding mode is selected. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine main body 1000 forms an image of a document placed o a document platen glass 16 on the sheet, is provided with an automatic document feeder(ADF) 200 on its upper part, can process documents not only in the normal one-document feeding mode but also in the two- documents feeding mode; in this mode two successive documents are fed, placed on the document platen glass 16 in the scan direction, stopped, exposed and then ejected. A finishing unit 50 carrying out a filing mode process which piles up and files the ejected sheet in order is provided. The select of the filing mode is inhibited when the two-documents feeding mode is selected. If the two- documents feeding mode is selected when the filing mode is selected, the warning is issued to the filing mode and the two-documents feeding mode is preferentially executed. |
