<p>PURPOSE:To produce sintered ore having high collapse strength by pelletizing powder raw materials to minipellets by compaction plasticizing and kneading with an excitation kneading machine, then drying and dehydrating the minipellets, further sieving the pellets and supplying the same onto a pallet of a sintering machine at the time of producing the sintered ore for a blast furnace by using fine pulverous iron ore. CONSTITUTION:The powder raw materials contg. the fine pulverous iron ore in which <=60mum fine powder occupies >=60% are charged from a raw material tank 1 into the excitation compaction plasticizing and kneading device 30 by a conveyor 3. After the raw materials are compaction-plasticized and kneaded under excitation by the pressurizing and rolling using many compacted media, the raw materials are pelletized to the minipellets by an excitation pelletizing machine 40. The minipellets are imposed on a perforated plate having the many apertures having 2 to 3mm width and 10mm length and are dried to <3% moisture by blowing an exhaust gas of 150 to 200 deg.C from a cooler 20 for the sintered ore. The dust in the exhaust gas is recovered by a bag filter 25 and is recycled. The dried minipellets are sieved to coarse grains and fine grains by a vibrating screen 50. The coarse grains are laminated on the lower layer and the fine grains on the upper layer on the endless pallet 18 of the sintering machine 17. The coke in the sintering raw materials is fired by an ignition burner 18 to sinter the raw materials. The sintered ore having the high strength is thus produced.</p> |
