<p>An aqueous immunological composition comprises a detectably labeled antibody to a Streptococcal antigen, and a water-soluble or water-dispersible nonionic surfactant. This composition provides improved background and spot quality in assays for Streptococcal antigens. Such advantages are particularly evident with assays carried out using filter membranes to capture the immunological product. The composition can be included in a diagnostic test kit for use in the assay.</p> |
