<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of gas to a light emitting and detecting means by providing an air jet means injecting an air stream along an object at the optical intermediate position between the light emitting and detecting means and the object. CONSTITUTION:The light emitter 51 arranged in the vicinity of an extrusion molding machine 1 emits light to the surface of a molded product immediately after extrusion molding in an inclined state and a two-dimensional camera 52 detects the reflected light thereof to detect the surface flow of the molded product 2. An air jet nozzle 53 injects an air stream along the molded product 2 in the transfer direction thereof to purge the space between the light emitter 51/two-dimensional camera 52 and the molded product 2. By this method, the air curtain covering the light emitter 51 and the two-dimensional camera 52 is formed and the adhesion of the gas generated from the molded product to the light emitter 51 and the two-dimensional camera 52 is prevented.</p> |
