PURPOSE:To allow noncompression fluid to flow so as to effectively damp vertical vibration by coupling a lower rigid member secured to a bearing box with an upper rigid member secured to a bogy frame through the intermediary of a resilient member, and by defining a non-compressive fluid chamber. CONSTITUTION:A bearing box support device 5 is connected to both bearing box 4 supporting an axle 3 of a railway vehicle and a bogy frame 1 located above the bearing box 4. In this arrangement, a lower rigid member 7 secured to the bearing box 4 is liquid-tightly coupled to an upper rigid member 8 secured to the bogy frame 1 through the intermediary of a resilient member 9, and a diaphragm 10 is liquid-tightly attached to the upper rigid member 8 so as to define a liquid chamber 12 which is vertically divided into two liquid chambers 14, 15 by means of a rigid partition wall 13. These liquid chambers 14, 15 are communicated together through an orifice passage 16. Further, the chamber 14, 15 and the orifice passage 16 are filled therein with non-compressive fluid 17 which can flow between the chambers 14, 15, thereby it is possible to effectively damp vertical vibration. |
