<p>A gymnastic device for lifting counterweights or for winning other vertically resisting loads by means of the lower limbs of a human body. The device comprises a stationary bicycle frame (1) and two counterweight lifting assemblies or vertically resisting loads, mounted on a stationary support framework (2, 5). The bicycle frame (1) carries the conventional shaft (201) of the pedal cranks (13) and a toothed wheel (14) connected by a chain (15) to at least one sprocket wheel (33, 76) keyed on a driven shaft (32, 71, 171), supported by the framework (2, 5) and which will be alternatively connected at each of its ends to the one or the other respectively of a pair of said counterweight lifting assemblies or other vertical resisting loads, through two transmissions, each including a unidirectional joint mechanism, said joint mechanisms make respectively operative the force transmissions, alternatively during a semi-revolution of the driven shaft (32, 71, 171). Said counterweight lifting assemblies can be substituted by pairs of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders or by other suitable resisting load means acting in absence of any friction effect.</p> |
