PURPOSE:To hold proper engine control by a method wherein an air guide positioned in parallel to the shaft of a throttle valve and facing the opening of a bypass passage and a PCV port is mounted on the downstream side of a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 126 for idle suction is communicated to a suction passage 104 on the side wherein a throttle valve 132 is rotated from a direction extending at right angles with a throttle valve shaft 130 to a downstream direction. An air guide 140 is situated on the downstream side of the throttle valve 132 in parallel to the throttle valve shaft 130 and facing an idle port 124 and a PCV port 118. This constitution ensures smooth opening and closing operation of the throttle valve for a long period and holds reliable engine control. |
