PURPOSE: To minimize the possibility of container contamination through provision of a quick and positive communication between a fluid delivery device and a container by forming a passage with in the container via a foil diaphragm which tears simultaneously with piercing therethrough, and then flowing is filtered air. CONSTITUTION: Diaphragm 46 undergoes deformation or tearing by offset spike member 32, and expands sufficiently to provide its opening, whereby a fluid is allowed to flow freely into tube 28 through fluid passage 26 in first member 22, and air is likewise allowed to stream into container 20 via second member 24. First concavity 42 serves positively to sufficiently separate flexible disc 38 and the diaphragm 46 so that the flexible disc 38 may bend as air flows from air passage 30 to container 20. Second concavity 44 slightly deflects the flexible disc 38 towards the interior of the container 20, whereby foam are securely turned aside from the fluid passage 26. |
