发明名称 IGNITION TIMING CONTROL DEVICE FOR SPARK IGNITION TYPE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase engine efficiency and to improve acceleration performance by a method wherein from a variable indicating a combustion energy amount, the temperature of the wall part of the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine is estimated, and from the temperature of the wall part of the combustion chamber, an ignition timing is calculated. CONSTITUTION:An ECU 15 inputs signals from an engine rotation sensor 14, an airflow sensor 13, and a water temperature sensor 16, and sets a fundamental ignition angle based on the number of revolutions of an engine and an intake air amount by means of a set means 30. From variables, e.g. a water temperature indicating a combustion energy amount, the number of revolutions of an engine, and an intake air amount, the temperature of a combustion chamber wall is estimated by means of an estimating means 32, and according to the estimated temperature, an ignition angle correction amount is determined by means of a correction means 33. A fundamental ignition angle is corrected by means of an ignition angle correction amount, a power transistor 11 is turned ON by means of an ignition signal from an ignition signal generating means 35, and a high voltage from an ignition coil 10 is applied on an ignition plug 9. This constitution enables the increase of engine efficiency and improvement of acceleration performance without delaying an ignition timing any more than is necessary.
