The bandage for protecting the knee joint has an inner part, made of soft PVC, which forms an annular chamber (1) which surrounds the knee joint. This chamber (1) is connected to a pump (2) and an air vent valve (3) which are attached to the bandage and lie against the wearer's leg. The air pressure in the chamber (1) can be increased by actuating the pump (2) or decreased by opening the valve (3). The chamber (1) is covered with a layer of gauze (4) which is enclosed in a textile outer cover. USE - Protection of knee joint when engaged in sport.
