PURPOSE:To easily manufacture the necessary slide fastener of the tooth train having the pattern with a simple mechanism by housing teeth in respectively different hues in plural perpendicular chutes, selectively taking out the necessary teeth, feeding it to a tooth fitting part and fitting it to the fastener tape. CONSTITUTION:The teeth to be housed and transported in a pocket part 22 of a teeth transportation lever 21 is dropped with a dead weight from a teeth accepting hole 23, fed to a teeth accepting chute 31, and fed to a peripheral part 5 of a fastener tape 4 in stretching over a two-branched leg part 2 of the teeth. A pair of posture control levers 34 and 34 provided at the right and left of the fastener tape 4 are moved, they are made to abut on the side surface of an engaging part 3 of the teeth, the fitting posture of the teeth is straightened, a teeth pressing lever 33 to stand by between the chutes is lowered through a through hole 23 of the teeth transportation lever 21, and the top of the teeth is pressed. Next, a pair of fitting puches 35 are moved from the right and left of the fastener tape 4, they are pressed, and the two-branched leg part 2 of the teeth is sandwichingly fitted to the peripheral part 5 of the fastener tape 4. |
