PURPOSE: To obtain a line deflecting circuit unneedful high-cost components by reducing a series circuit loss to a degree that the sum of the series components of voltage between both terminals of supply voltage and a sweep capacitor becomes, at least, five times the amplitude of the AC component of power source. CONSTITUTION: If a picture display device is turned on, a control signal is supplied to a switch S1 to be alternatively conducted/disconducted. An AC voltage source U supplies energy to the series network of a coil Ly and a capacitor Cs, and forming a voltage between both terminals of the capacitor Cs. Then, the power source U makes the sum of series component being selfvoltage and the capacitor Cs, i.e., swept voltage increase every time. Thus, ringing effects occurs and the sum of the series component of the voltage of the power source U and the interterminal voltage of the capacitor Cs becomes as high as multitimes the AC voltage amplitude of the power source after a certain time. The swept voltage is replenished for every periods until a balance generates, and increased more than compensating the loss, and the amplitude of the line deflecting current does not increase. This voltage becomes an energy source to a deflecting current. |
