PURPOSE:To detect ion temperature and electron temperature at the same place in a plasma by measure X-rays and neutron particles released from the same cross-section of the plasma from the same port. CONSTITUTION:A fast vacuum vessel 1A is kept vacuum inside with a vacuum generator 2. A plasma generating area 6 is housed at one end of the first vacuum vesslel 1A. X-ray and neutron particles are generated from this plasma generating area 6. The X-ray and neutron particles generated from the plasma generating area 6 passes through a measuring port 7 and are made to enter a stripping cell 8 in a second vacuum vessel B. A gas feeder 11 exchanges charge between the neutron particles coming into a stripping cell 4 and gas charge the neutron particles. Then, a bias voltage is applied to a deflection electrode 9 to deflect the particles. Subsequentially, a detection signal from an SSD detector 10 is processed with a signal processor 19. |
