PURPOSE: To provide a replaceable humidifier module requiring no direct contact between water and a heater element surface by comprising a vapor permeable and water impermeable diaphragm installed between a first and a second chambers; a humidification chamber, wherein the first chamber is furnished with a gas inlet port and a gas outlet port; a water heating chamber, wherein the second chamber is furnished with a water inlet port; and a heat exchange member made of a material with high heat conductivity. CONSTITUTION: The humidifier module separates itself into first humidification chamber or vapor chamber 26 and second water heating chamber or vaporizing chamber 28 including diaphragm 24 which is made of a hydrophobic material providing permeability to vapor and impermeability against liquid water. The humidifier module further includes gas inlet port 30 and gas outlet port 32. Water inlet port 34 is provided on the top of the humidifier module for the connection to a water supply pipe, whereby water may be fed from a water supply source of a gas humidification unit while on one side of the humidifier module, there is further provided heat exchange member or heat exchange wall 36, allowing the high level of heat conduction from a heat source of the humidification unit to well conduct to the water heating chamber of the humidifier module. |
