A phantom for quantitative determination of bone mineral content comprising a high molecular weight compound having dispersed therein a calcium phosphate compound as a bone mineral equivalent. The phantom exhibits an energy dependence close to that of natural bone and, therefore, makes it possible to precisely determine bone mineral content by CT.
