PURPOSE: To realize a brush-furnished dust suction nozzle of good workability with the center of gravity ideally positioned by providing a holder, in which to house a battery for a drive motor of a brush-furnished dust suction nozzle, at the region of a brush-furnished dust suction nozzle guide support and allow simple battery replacement. CONSTITUTION: Brush roll 5 is driven by electric motor 8 through belt transmission system 9. At the rear end 10 of brush-furnished dust suction nozzle 1, joint member 11 is held turnably around axis 12, and to the joint member 11, guide support 15 serving as a part of dust suction pipe 16 is coupled via an inserting joint. The dust suction pipe 16 connects the dust suction nozzle 1 with a vacuum cleaner, and holder 17 in which to house one or plural batteries 18 is mounted near the joint member 11. The battery 18 has respective contact points which are coupled to the counterpart contact points provided at the holder 17 when the battery in put into the holder, whereby the battery 18 is electrically joined to drive motor with a guard line 19.
