An electronic image-reproducing device for digital video signals comprises a block-limit light-diffusing screen for reducing the visibility of block limits in video signals. In the case of calculation specifications which differ from block to block for the image points in video signal blocks, the block limits can be irritatingly visible during the reproduction of given image contents. The light-diffusing screen for block limits constitutes a smooth transition for the image points on said block limits between the different modes of calculation.
