Device for conveying samples to a gluing station

A device for conveying samples, which can be picked up by suction or by spiking, from magazines to a gluing station. The device is intended for use during the production of sample cards. It has a group of perpendicular magazines which are arranged next to one another and are open at the top for receiving in each case one stack of samples. A corresponding group of lifting cylinders below the magazines ensures that the magazines are raised in each case by the height of one sample. A transfer table has, on its lower side, holding sections for receiving the samples. A transportation device serves for lifting, lowering and advancing the transfer table to the gluing station. The samples are provided there with glue on their underside, are released by the transfer table and preferably pressed directly by the latter onto a sample board. Depending in each case on their type, the samples can be sucked up by the holding sections or picked up with the aid of needles. <IMAGE>
