Spherical crystals (SC) of nitroguanidine are continuously obtd.: by (A) forming in an externally cooled spiral condenser nitroguanidine seeds from a hot, satd. soln. of nitroguanidine; and (B) effecting further crystallisation by an agitated cascade process. ADVANTAGE - Effective method to obtain the desired SC of nitroguanidine.
