Cutter-clamping system for angular-cutting cutter blocks for the production of flakes of wood, having cutter bodies which are of step-shaped design and whose cutting-edge portions are arranged parallel to the axis of the cutter block, the particle-discharging surfaces being stepped from the cutting-edge portions down into the particle-collecting spaces and supporting the discharged flakes in grain-parallel manner.
