PURPOSE:To make it possible to generate rotating pulses in phases A and B which are characteized by the constant phase difference and periods and high accuracy, by obtaining the output from a pair of light receiving elements whose specified phase difference position is shifted at the side of a rotary disk through a combined circuit of FFs and reversible counters. CONSTITUTION:At the rises of the outputs of light receiving elements LRDA and LRDB whose specified phase difference positions on the side of the rotary disk RDC of the encoder are shifted, the FF1 is set and reset. Then the pulses having a constant frequency are counted up and down in the reversible counter RVC1. The FF2 is set by the rise of the output of the element LRDA, and reset when the content of the counter RVC1 is zero. The phase A pulses are outputted from its set side. The FF3 is set by the rise of the output of the element LRDB, and reset when the content of the counter RVC1 is zero. The pulses having a constant frequency is counted up and down in the counter RVC2. The FF4 is set by the output of the element LRDB, and reset when the content of the counter RVC2 is zero. Then the phase B pulses are outputted from the set side. |
