PURPOSE: To improve efficiency by providing a main assembly circuit comprising at least one conveyor advanced in steps and components part support plates fixed to this conveyor, a feed line, a take-up means, component part assembly means, and an inspecting means for component parts on each support plate. CONSTITUTION: A line V1 is advanced in steps and becomes fundamental with a chain conveyor 1 and a driving chain gear, and a support plate 2 to which assembly parts are fed is fixed to the conveyor 1 strictly in a given interval. First, the support plate 2 receives feed of first assembly parts 5 from a delivery corridor 3 and take-up devices 6. Then, the support plate 2 is combined with a main assembly circuit C by a longitudinally installed conveyor 24 through a rivet stopping station 12 and inspection stations 15, 22. Seven feed, inspection, rivet stopping, take-up stations are arranged on a branch line V2 in a given angle interval. Two branch lines V1, V2 merge, and connect respective semi- assembly products with assembly parts conveyed by a circuit C in a given order. |
