The subject matter of the invention is an arrangement for nuclear magnetic resonance examinations, having a coil arrangement which consists of at least two coils. The said coils interact with neighbouring parts of the examination region and are decoupled from each other. When using such coils for picking up nuclear resonance signals, the nuclear resonance signals induced in the individual coils are added, which results in a good signal-to-noise ratio even for relatively large examination regions. <IMAGE>
