A diorganopolysiloxane-polyester block copolymer which is degradable by hydrolysis containing from 1 to 99% by weight of the diorganopolysiloxane block. The copolymers in accordance with this invention are generally thermoplastic and degradable by hydrolysis and may be used for manufacturing erodible matrices containing a medically active material, a plant-protection product, etc, with a view to its controlled release. |
