A vehicle lyre tread comprises angular or diagonal profile elements (3) and angular or diagonal grooves (4) disposed at an acute angle ??? from 15 DEG to 25 DEG relative to the equatorial plane of the tyre, widened profile elements (6) with grooves (7) being provided in the shoulders (5).
