<p>A color liquid crystal display control apparatus in a personal computer to which a CRT display unit can be arbitrarily connected and which has a color liquid crystal display as a standard equipment, includes a first pallet (3) for converting color data supplied from a video RAM into 256 color display data, a second pallet (5) for converting the 256 color display data output from the first pallet into 256K color display data for the CRT, and a third pallet (13) for converting the 256 color display data output from the first pallet into 16 color display data for the color liquid crystal display. The color liquid crystal display control apparatus also includes a conversion circuit (21) for automatically updating the contents of the third pallet upon updating of the contents of the second pallet by an application program.</p> |
