A description is given of a reversible storage device for agents, which consists of a storage core (1), an intermediate storage device (2), a catalyst (3) and a protective sheath (4). Upon opening of the protective sheath, the stored agent is heated in the catalyst layer owing to the entry of oxygen which then takes place.
