<p>Device with traversing shaft of the type comprising a shaft (2) mounted on two ball bearings (24), two friction rollers (4) mounted on this shaft, and means of driving this shaft provided at one end of the latter. According to the invention, this shaft (2) traverses, at each of its ends, a bearing (6) housed and keyed in an aluminium profile (10), and moulded over a ball bearing (24).
