<p>PURPOSE:To secure the sequence of a packet even by monitoring for a load distribution by setting one path to a call unit. CONSTITUTION:A packet exchange is provided with plural input means for inputting a packet from a transmission line, plural output means for outputting the packet to the transmission line, and a connecting network which is connected between plural input means and plural output means and contains plural binary switches connected to plural stages by an interstage link. In this state, for instance, when a packet P arrives, a routing header RH for designating a connecting line of the connecting network, namely, a path is added to the packet P, and by bringing it to routing in the network thereby, the packet P of the same call is allowed to pass through the same path. In such a way, even by monitoring for a load distribution, the sequence of the packet can be secured.</p> |
