PURPOSE:To provide the title composition containing as active ingredients O-3-t-butylphenyl N-(6-methoxy-2-pyridyl)-N-methylthiocarbamate, etc., and 2-(2,4- dichloro-3-methylphenoxy)propionanilide. CONSTITUTION:O-3 or 4-t-butylphenyl N-(6-methoxy-2-pyridyl)-N- methylthiocarbamate and 2-(2,4-dichloro-3-methylphenoxy)propionanilide are mixed with an inert carrier to obtain the objective composition in the form of granular, hydrated, milky, powdery or flowable formulation. This composition has high synergistic effect, being applicable over a wide range of period, having remarkable herbicidal effect on perennial weeds such as Scirpus juncoides and Sagittaria pygmaea as well as annual weeds such as Cyperus difformis and Monochoria vaginalis, also causing no damage on transplanted paddy-rice plants. Furthermore, the present composition has persistent residual efficacy, thus leading to labor savings in farm working. |
