<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly change the direction of a carriage by making each rotary member, which is provided on a carriage body rotatably in a plane parallel to a floor surface, support driving wheels through a supporting mechanism which rotates around a shaft center which is perpendicular to the rotary shaft of said wheels and parallel to a floor surface. CONSTITUTION:More than one rotary member 81, 82 is provided on a carriage body 1 rotatably in a plane parallel to a floor surface. Driving wheels 2A-2D are supported by the rotary members 81, 82 through supporting mechanisms in such a way that the speed of rotation of each wheel is independently controllable. The supporting mechanism consists of a shaft center 101 which is perpendicular to each rotary shafts 12A-12D of the driving wheels and parallel to a floor surface, and holders 111, 112 which are rotatably installed on the shaft center 101.</p> |
