摘要 |
PURPOSE:To recover the title substance as an extracted component by bringing a dichlorotoluene isomer mixture into contact with a Na-substituted X type zeolite of faujasite type in the presence of naphthalene or an alkyl-substituted substance thereof. CONSTITUTION:A dichlorotoluene isomer mixture is brought into contact with a Na-substituted X type zeolite of faujasite type in the presence of a compound shown by the formula (R<1> and R<2> are H or lower alkyl) preferably in a liquid phase at 50-250 deg.C under atmospheric pressure-40kg/cm<2>G to give 2,6-isomer. The compound shown by the formula used as a desorbing agent acts as an adsorbing solvent in an adsorbing process so that the 2,6-isomer can be adsorbed on an adsorbent in better selectivity than other isomers. Since the adsorptivity and desorptivity of the compound shown by the formula on zeolite is neither too strong nor too weak and the compound has a higher boiling point than the aimed substance, the compound is excellent as a desorbing agent. |
