TWO-PACK BACK-FILLING INJECTION PROCESS OF WATER GLASS

PURPOSE:To improve the durability, early gel time and development of initial strength by injecting a durable grout produced by mixing water glass to a suspension containing a cure-developing material composed of slag, cement and lime. CONSTITUTION:The objective process comprises the injection of a durable grout produced by mixing (A) a suspension containing a cure-developing material composed of (i) 38-68wt.% of water-granulated blast-furnace slag, (ii) 60-17wt.% of cement and (iii) 2-15wt.% of lime (preferably slaked lime) and (B) water glass. The component (i) of the component A is powder having a Blaine specific surface area of >=1,500cm<2>/g (preferably >=3,000cm<2>/g).
