To improve noise prevention effect of a high tension resistive wire suitable for use as an ignition cord for automotive vehicles, the rubber composite of the wire core of the high tension resistive wire comprises 100 weight-part base rubber formed of a mixture of fluorine based rubber and silicon rubber; 50 to 700 weight-part ferrite; and 5 to 10 weight-part carbon block. Since silicon rubber is mixed with fluorine based rubber as the base rubber, it is possible to markedly increase the mixture ratio (up to 7 times) of ferrite to the base rubber for providing a higher noise prevention without deteriorating other characteristics such as extrusion productivity, low-temperature characteristics, heat resistance, tensile strength, etc.
