PURPOSE:To forcedly eject useless paper alone to the outside of a machine by ejecting paper in a paper containing part without forming an image thereon when either a paper jamming signal or a signal indicating the presence of paper is set. CONSTITUTION:In setting the paper jamming signal, it means that paper stored in a containing part when previous copying is performed remains in the case of turning on a power source. Conversely, in setting the signal indicating the presence of paper, it means that copying is carrying out on the 2nd surface with a refeeding paper. Consequently, paper remaining in the containing part is not required for subsequent copying. By such a reason CPU 90 setting the paper jamming signal and the signal indicating the presence of paper and a CPU 80 controlling the ejection of paper in the paper containing part without forming an image are provided when either of those signals is set. Consequently, the CPU 80 discriminates whether or not paper is forcedly ejected, and only when it discriminate so, the paper is ejected to the outside of the machine. |
