PURPOSE:To simply perform the time adjustment between each device for constituting a network system by utilizing a test packet function which each device has and sending out time information to other device. CONSTITUTION:In a network system in which plural pieces of devices being independent themselves are connected mutually, a time management memory 15 for holding the time, and a completion flag 14 for showing a fact that time setting to the time management memory 15 is completed are provided in advance in each device, and by using the time management memory 15 and the completion flag 14, time information is sent out from a specific device to other device by a test packet function. The test packet function itself is provided as a standard on all the devices, and it is unnecessary to add a new function especially. In such a way, the time adjustment between each device constituting the network system can be performed simply. |
