PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality sheet laver without giving excessive twist and hurt to laver cell by cutting sufficiently cleaned raw agar of laver into a size suitable to a sheet laver in a process feeding the raw agar in fluid state under action of water and then making the raw agar into the sheet laver. CONSTITUTION:A raw agar of laver from which impurities are eliminated and sufficiently cleaned is kept in fluid state together with water (including sea water and cleaned water) and sent to a laver-cutting machine by a screw feeder. In the laver cutting machine, the raw agar of laver is cut into a size suitable to a sheet laver and then formed into the sheet laver. |
