摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication equipment by which high speed communication is attained even when a processing speed of a PHY or a LINK is low by mounting a plurality of PHYs or LINKs thereon. SOLUTION: Communication equipment 27 being a device #1 has two PHYs 511, 512 whose transfer rate is as low as S200 (200 Mbps), and communication equipment 28 being a device #2 has two PHYs, that is a PHY 511 whose transfer rate is S400 (400 Mbps) and a PHY 522 whose transfer rate is S200 (200 Mbps), then both the devices #1, #2 attain parallel data transfer using the two PHYs. Thus, the maximum transfer speed of the commendation equipment 27 being the device #1 is 400 Mbps and the maximum transfer speed of the communication equipment 28 of the device #2 is 600 Mbps. Thus, the communication at a higher transfer rate is attained than that of a conventional system.</p>
