PURPOSE:To obtain the titled packing excellent in sectional accuracy and dimensional accuracy, by a method wherein a work intruding into a grindstone is certainly twisted by shifting axially or tilting the position of pivot support of one end of the work so that another end of the work intrudes by inclination into the feed groove. CONSTITUTION:An endless square sectional material 1a is, in sliding contact, ground with the grinding groove 13 of a grindstone 11 by a method wherein the material 1a is, in 8-shaped condition, bridged between the feed groove 14 of main sahft 12 and the guide groove 18 of inverted pulley 17, and the main shaft 12 and the grind stone 11 are brought near revolvingly driving it by regulating the gap between the main shaft 12 and the inverted shaft 15. The twisting force is generated by displacing the main axis 12 and the inverted axis 15 axially by delta in offset amount keeping parallel, by tilting the droopingly bridged no end material 1a to the feed groove 14 by DELTAtheta in intrusion angle and by transferring the no end material 1a into the feed groove 14. |
