A WORK STATION FOR ORIENTATION OF A WORKPIECE A work station for orientation of a workpiece, including a substantially plane mounting table for the mounting thereon of a workpiece, the table being adapted to perform a rotary movement about an axis perpendicular to its plane, and a translatory movement in a plane co-planar with its own plane, drive means for effecting the rotary and the translatory movement, and an imaging axis parallel to the axis of rotation and located in the plane defined by the translatory movement performable by the axis of rotation as part of the table. Any location on the workpiece can be brought into alignment with the imaging axis by at least of of the movements. |
