PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily open with the end of a pull tab caught by a finger and to open a drink can with a less force by a method wherein the tip of the pull tab for opening a spout for the drink can is formed in a triangular shape. SOLUTION: For a drink can, the can main body, a pull tab 1 and a pin 2 are made of the same quality of steel. The pull tab 1 develops a working utilizing the theory of lever with a point of contact where a connecting part 1b and the pin 2 are in contact being a fulcrum. In this case, a point of force is applied to bend the pull tab backward so that a finger can be fit easily to the end 1a of the pull tab and the pull tab can be turned easily. Then, the first point whereto the working is applied is the front end 1c of a triangular shape whereon a force of the finger is concentrated. On the other hand, a groove 3b is formed at a flat top 3 of the can 4, and the groove 3b is ruptured when the force is applied to a spout portion 3a of the flat top and a spout is opened. Thereby, the force of a finger applied to the end 1a of the pull tab is concentrated onto the front end 1c of the triangular shape, and the spout can be opened easily. |
