PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To swiftly control computation by split relays, even if the number of the sections in a power system is increased by providing a controller for computation by the split relays with a determining means for determining a split relay to which the result of computation by the split relays is to be sent, based on the result of detection by a status detecting means. SOLUTION: If an accident occurs in a power system and a split relay 69 executes computation, a status detecting unit 91 detects the open/closed state of a bus bar section isolator 59 and a split isolator 65 adjacent to the protection coverage 77 of the split relay 69. In the bus bar section isolator 59 is at 'ON' state, a determining unit determines a split relay 70 as the target, to which the result of computation by the split relay 69 is to be transmitted. When the split isolator 65 is 'ON', the determining unit determines a split relay 73 as the target, to which the result of computation by the split relay 69 is to be transmitted. Thus, even if the number of the sections in the power system is increased, the computation by the split relays can be controlled swiftly, and extra split relays can be added easily. |
