<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which simplifies a structure and can be produced at low cost while being capable of inputting moving data for moving a mouse cursor or rotating data for scrolling without damaging operability in various kinds of operation. SOLUTION: A slider 5 is provided with a movable electrode 6 and an electrode in prescribed shape is provided on a main substrate 2 facing the movable electrode 6 through the gap of a prescribed quantity. The slider 5 is equipped with torsional deformed parts 5X and 5Y capable of oscillation and corresponding to the operation of an input part 3. The movable electrode 6 is inclined by these torsional deformed parts 5X and 5Y with an abutting groove 2a as a supporting point. Besides, an electrode facing the movable electrode 6 on the side of the main substrate 2 is equipped with an independent electrode. The electrostatic capacitance corresponding to the inclination of the movable electrode 6 is generated differently and a change in this electrostatic capacitance is detected.</p> |
