<p>PURPOSE:To prevent improper combustion of intake gas, by removing a residual of negative pressure, operated at an intake stroke, in the downstream side of a throttle valve at low speed operation, that is, by bypassing and communicating the upstream side to the downstream side of the throttle valve in an intake passage at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A low speed side passage 13, feeding intake air at low speed operation of an engine A, and a high speed side passage 14, feeding intake air at high speed operation of the engine A, are provided independently of each other, and of each these passages 13, 14 is connected to intake passages 3a, 3b at the side of a cylinder A1. The upstream side and the downstream side of a throttle valve 19 in the intake passage 3b are communicated by bypassing the valve 19. Its communicating means is obtained by drilling a through hole 20 to the valve 19 itself. In this way, a slight amount of intake air flows from the upstream side of the throttle valve 19 to the downstream side at low speed operation of the engine A, and negative pressure, applied to the downstream side, can be removed to prevent a residual of existing combustion gas.</p> |
