PURPOSE:To obtain a compact filtering apparatus having high performance by providing 2-stage swivel air duct and a duct collecting chamber in the filtering apparatus and centrifugally separating twice ducts intaken atmospheric air, thereby enhancing the dust collecting efficiency without altering the shape and size of an external appearance. CONSTITUTION:A downward swivel air duct 28 of a ventilation filtering apparatus 24 for supplying only clean air to a rotary electric machine by removing dusts from intake air is formed downwardly from an atmospheric air inlet 27 opened at the upper portion, and a lower dust collecting chamber 34 is formed at the end. Further, an upward swivel air duct 31 is so formed as to fold from the lower end of the duct 28, an upper dust collecting chamber 37 is provided at the end of its extension, and a clean air inlet air duct 22 communicating within the machine is formed at the lower portion of the chamber 37. |
