PURPOSE:To increase the stability of fuel feed pressure in a one in which a ball of a valve member opening and closing a fuel exhaust port is pressed to the holding member side by means of a spring by forming the contact side with the ball of the spring into a conical form so that its spring force acts onto nearly the center of the ball. CONSTITUTION:A control device for controlling the pressure of feed fuel to an internal combustion engine has a casing 1 partitioned into a negative pressure chamber 4 and a fuel chamber 5 by a diaphragm 2, and a seat member 11 is held by a heat holding member 8 provided on the bottom of the lower cover body 1b of the casing 1 in such a manner that its top end side is slightly protruded into the fuel chamber 5. A valve member 17 is held by the diaphragm 2 through a holding member 19, and its valve plate 13 is fixed to the valve seat 14 on the seat member 11 upper surface. The valve plate 13 is welded to the lower part of a ball 18 received in a recessed part 20 formed on the holding member 19 through a spring 25. In this case, a conical spring having the top end on the contact side with the ball 18 is used as the spring 25. |
