PURPOSE:To form a winding conductor of a flat side face by pressure molding a conductor before winding it. CONSTITUTION:Pressure molding means 10 is provided between an uncoiler 1 and winding means 3. The means 10 pressure-molds a conductor 2 in a direction parallel to the axis 4a of a winding shaft 4. The means 10 has a stationary mold 11 for receiving the conductor 2, a movable mold 12 so disposed as to hold the conductor 2, and a driving mechanism 13. Thus, in order to form the side face of the conductor 2 to be deformed ln an uneven state during winding in a state having no deformation after winding, it is pressure molded in advance before winding. In this manner, a winding conductor having a flat side face including no deformation can be formed after winding. |
